The area around the villa

Staying in our villa will offers you not only the advantage of relaxing in a quiet private area but also be close to everything.

The villa is located on a hill, overlooking the Souda bay outside the small traditional village Sternes which is one of the many villages of the Akrotiri peninsula, about 14 km north east of Chania town.

The whole surrounding area is a totally quiet natural environment ideal for relaxing. In Sternes village you will be able to find a bakery, mini market, pharmacy and restaurants.  Additionally the neighboring village of Pithari has a butcher, gas station and supermarket.

Kounoupidiana which is the largest village of Akrotiri peninsula (9 km away from the villa) has even more shops and amenities.

In the Akrotiri area you will find some remarkable historical monuments, century-old monasteries and churches, impressive caves with rich lithological and archaeological interest.

If you are looking for big markets and entertainment, then Chania city is a 20 minute drive away from the villa.
