Beaches

Crete is a magical island filled with myth and legend, a place to relax the ideal choice for all the family. 

The closest beaches to the villa are:

Loutraki Beach (2 km): Loutraki beach is a waveless beach with fine sand and crystal clear shallow waters, especially suitable for children.

Marathi Beach (2,5 km): Marathi has two wonderful beaches, divided by the pier of the harbor. 

Both beaches have fine sand and shallow calm water (they are very well protected from the winds), ideal for children.

Kalathas (12 km): Kalathas beach has fine sand and the beach is very well organized with umbrellas.  Kalathas beach may be affected by the winds unlike the two above mentioned beaches.

Furthermore, on the west coast of Crete you can find some of the most amazing well known natural beaches of Crete and Greece like “Phalasarna”, “Ballos”, “Gramvousa” and “Elafonisi”. The distance to the west coast from the villa is about o
